Dreamworld Cinema, Movie theater in Gold Coast, Australia
The cinema featured a large 21 by 11 meter screen and contained 315 seats arranged in tiered rows beneath ground level inside Dreamworld theme park.
Opening in January 2011 following renovations of the former IMAX Theatre, Dreamworld Cinema operated until February 2018 before transforming into Sky Voyager attraction.
The cinema screened diverse films including The Curse of Skull Rock during park hours and special presentations of Tron: Legacy and Megamind after regular operation times.
Visitors could access the cinema through a ground-level foyer as part of their regular admission to Dreamworld, combining movie entertainment with theme park activities.
The facility utilized RealD Cinema technology for 3D film projection, making it a technological advancement from its previous IMAX format at Queensland's largest theme park.
