Sky Voyager, Flight simulator ride at Dreamworld, Gold Coast, Australia
Sky Voyager is a flight simulator ride at Dreamworld on the Gold Coast featuring motion seats and special effects displayed on a giant curved screen. The attraction shows Australian landscapes through aerial footage synchronized with water sprays, scents, and wind effects inside the gondola.
Construction began in late 2017, converting the former IMAX theater building into a modern simulator ride. It opened to the public in August 2019.
The ride showcases aerial views of twelve different Australian regions, featuring indigenous landmarks and natural wonders seen from above in an immersive way.
Each gondola holds approximately 60 passengers per cycle and requires a minimum height of 100 centimeters for unaccompanied children. The ride operates throughout all park hours.
The gondola includes water sprays, scents, and wind effects that sync with scenes from Sydney Harbour to the Outback. These layered sensory additions transform the visual flight into a more complete physical experience.
