Dreamworld Studios, Recording studio and auditorium in Gold Coast, Australia
Dreamworld Studios was a production facility and auditorium located within the Dreamworld theme park grounds at Gold Coast. The complex housed sound stages and recording areas alongside a large venue with seating for audiences.
The venue began in 1986 as Music Bowl and was renamed multiple times before becoming Dreamworld Studios in 2001. The entire structure was demolished in 2019 when the theme park cleared the land for a new roller coaster project.
The studios served as a working production hub where television shows were created for Australian audiences. Visitors could observe how entertainment content was produced and broadcasted to reach people across the country.
This location no longer exists and cannot be visited today. The site has been cleared and is now part of the theme park's ongoing development.
In its final months before demolition, the abandoned complex attracted urban explorers and created an unusual window into how production facilities change over time. The empty spaces told a story of how entertainment venues fade from use.
