Main Street, Themed entrance area at Dreamworld theme park in Gold Coast, Australia

Main Street is the central entry zone of Dreamworld, lined with shops, restaurants, and food vendors located right beyond the park entrance. It serves as the main corridor connecting different themed lands throughout the park while helping visitors navigate between attractions.

Main Street opened with Dreamworld in 1981 under the name Central Plaza. In 1974 John Longhurst bought 85 hectares at Coomera for the park and hired designers from Disneyland and Walt Disney World to lay out the street; its entrance is modelled on the Magic Kingdom's Main Street train station. The area has changed little since opening apart from routine maintenance.

The Dreamworld Express train carries passengers through multiple stations, connecting Main Street to different themed sections of the park.

Visitors find plenty of shopping and dining options before heading to other park attractions, making this area the hub for orientation and supply. It is wise to take some time here to get a sense of the park layout and decide which themed lands to visit first.

The Dreamworld Flyer swing ride, opened on 15 December 2023, is built around and behind the Dreamworld globe, and its top tilts as it spins. The park's entrance building takes after the Main Street train station at the Magic Kingdom in Florida.
