Hanzhong, Prefecture-level city in Shaanxi, China
Hanzhong extends across 27,246 square kilometers between the Daba Mountains and Qin Mountains, with the Hanjiang River flowing through its fertile valley.
The city served as the governing seat of Hanzhong Commandery during the Qin dynasty, later inspiring Liu Bang to name his Han dynasty after this region.
