Qiemo Airport, Regional airport in Qiemo County, China.
Qiemo Yudu Airport features a 2,800-meter runway and a 4,500-square-meter terminal building located 13 kilometers northwest of Qiemo Town.
The airport opened on December 19, 2016, replacing a previous facility that had ceased operations in 2011 due to infrastructure limitations.
The facility connects the remote communities of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region with major transportation networks through regular flight services.
China Southern Airlines operates regular flights connecting Qiemo to Ürümqi via Korla, with an annual passenger capacity of 120,000 and cargo processing of 480 tons.
The airport stands at an elevation of 1,252 meters above sea level, experiencing temperature variations from -27.4°C in winter to 42.6°C in summer.
