Koldher Fort, Military fort in Nashik district, India.
The fort stands within the Ajintha Satmal hill range, connected to three other fortifications: Chandwad Fort, Indrai Fort, and Rajdher Fort.
The Maratha Confederacy controlled Koldher Fort from 1752 until 1818, when it surrendered to British forces along with 17 other fortifications after Trymbak Fort.
The fort contains architectural elements including rock-cut granaries, storehouses, and remnants of military structures that reflect Maharashtra's defense engineering methods.
Visitors begin their trek from Rajdeherwadi village, located 11 kilometers from Chandwad town, following a wide path that requires two hours to reach the summit.
The fortress structure extends across the hilltop with rock-cut steps leading to caves suitable for overnight stays, despite lacking permanent water sources.
