The Lair, Animal exhibit in Gold Coast, Australia.
The facility spans 334 square meters and features triple laminated glass panels for observing white lions and other exotic species.
The animal exhibit opened on April 9, 2011, at Dreamworld theme park, starting with two white lions named Jake and Mischka from National Zoo.
The interior design reflects the Timbavati region in South Africa, connecting visitors to the natural environment of white lions.
Visitors can access a second-story glass platform to participate in supervised animal feeding sessions with trained zoo personnel.
Bengal and Sumatran tigers from Tiger Island were introduced to The Lair in September 2011 for specialized feeding experiences.
