Top Thrill 2, Steel roller coaster at Cedar Point, Sandusky, United States

The Top Thrill Dragster stands 128 meters tall and stretches 853 meters in length, incorporating steel construction throughout its entire structure.

Opening on May 4, 2003, this coaster held records as the tallest and fastest roller coaster worldwide until Kingda Ka surpassed it in 2005.

The design reflects American drag racing heritage through its launch track configuration and acceleration system that mimics professional racing vehicles.

Riders experience acceleration from zero to 120 miles per hour in 3.8 seconds before ascending a 90-degree climb and descending with a spiral.

The front car configuration accommodates only two riders instead of four, resulting in an 18-passenger capacity per train departure.
