Eurosat, Enclosed roller coaster in Europa-Park, Rust, Germany

Eurosat is a steel roller coaster housed within a 45-meter geodesic dome at Europa-Park, where red tracks wind through darkness supported by black framework. The ride reaches speeds of 60 kilometers per hour as it spirals inside the sphere-shaped structure.

The coaster opened on August 5, 1989, with black tracks and supports as part of the park's French themed area. In 2018 it underwent a major rebuild and reopened with new theming as Eurosat CanCan Coaster.

The refurbished attraction incorporates elements of Parisian culture, including references to the Moulin Rouge throughout the ride experience.

Seven trains carry fourteen riders each in single rows arranged two across, moving about 1600 people per hour through the attraction. A virtual reality option is available that starts in the waiting area and continues throughout the entire ride.

The lift system uses a barrel mechanism with a chain instead of a traditional hill climb, pulling trains smoothly upward from the center. The geodesic dome remains visible from far away at night through red lighting that marks the French section of the park.
