Mazunte, Coastal town in Oaxaca, Mexico
Located at 30 meters above sea level, Mazunte extends along the Pacific coast with three connected beaches lined by coconut palm trees.
Prior to 1970, the town served as a base for sea turtle fishing operations, with a processing facility that handled thousands of turtles annually.

Visitors can reach Mazunte by taking a four-hour bus ride from Oaxaca City to San Pedro Pochutla, followed by a local taxi service.
